Review content:
I decided to take my cat to this location since it was close to where I lived. There is absolutely nothing to recommend this vet. While the administrative staff is friendly enough, the vets themselves are not, and speak down to you as if you had absolutely no understanding of your pet. They hardly touch the animals themselves, letting an assistant do most of the work. They don't do any of the vaccinations with you in the room, instead taking your pet into a back room where they proceed to manhandle them (there's a window around the corner you can look in), holding the pets down and throwing them about with no regard to how a frightened pet is doing.\r
\r
They gave my cat the vaccinations and exams necessary for a kitten. The issue? She was two years old at the time, and had already had everything! They gave her so many unnecessary vaccinations that she got ill and when I called to ask what to do, they wanted me to bring her back for more vaccinations. I called another vet for a second opinion and she was horrifed at how many vaccinations my cat had been given.\r
\r
Plus she was supposed to come back after a month for booster shots (!!!) and my cat was so terrified, she ripped the side of her carrier off.\r
\r
They give your pet a huge amount of unnecessary things just so they can charge you an arm and a leg. A routine check-up should not cost $300! Plus their ""wellness plan"" is a scam, adding yet more things your pet doesn't need and quite frankly would be happier without.\r
\r
I am never taking my cat back there again, and I recommend that you take your pet elsewhere too. There are plenty of individual vets in the area who will give your pets better care for a better price.
