Best kept secret in the area. Although I have been to the Sawyer House a few times prior, my most recent visit was terrific. The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable. The service is impeccable and the menu is unique and interesting. The food is well prepared with excellent presentation. The walleye is becoming renowned as out-of-staters are calling in advance to make certain it will be available when they are in town. The owners are visible and friendly without being intrusive. This is well worth the visit to Lake County.
