Review content:
I've stopped through at the Station House a few times, since it's the most noticeable place in Pt. Reyes and would seem like the natural choice. Thing is, the folks who run the place seem to know this and take it for granted. It always takes forever. The other night, a Friday, I went at 6:00 pm with my mom and a friend. Wait was supposed to be 45 minutes, so we had beer and (good!) calamari in the bar. It took an hour to get a table, and it looked like other locals without reservations were being seated before we were. Once seated, two of the three warm glasses of water were eventually poured, and the third? 20 minutes later, along with a glass of wine. The server forgot my friend's salad, and the food, with the exception of the good yorkshire pudding breads, was... fine. It all took SO LONG, though, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Two and a half hours later, we finally got back on the road home. And it's always like this. Next time I'm going to eat at one of the other restaurants in town. You might as well, too. Pros: Good atmosphere, outdoor seating in good weather Cons: Looong wait, breezy open door in the cold, erratic service
