Review content:
We were staying at a cabin on Lake Murray and I searched for local restaurants and found this German one... Hadn't had German in quite a while so thought we would stop by. Saw they opened at 5:30 so had to wait. When they opened we were shocked to see that we really should have had reservations but Miss Wendy (71 YO owner and chef) had the hostess sit us at a table for 8 with 4 others. They were from columbia and had reservations but drove 45 minutes to eat here. Looking around we saw 6 tops with 3 different reservation names on them, so guess, eathing with ""new friends"" is the deal. Actually after an hour, not a seat was available. Although it did take two hours to finish, I noted they only had to small stoves to cook on (4 burner, and not commercial grade, or even fancy residential grade). Menu changes daily. Food was GREAT!!!
