Review content:
We just moved to the area and live right near Thai Taste so we were excited about the possibility for some delicious thai down the block...we were disappointed with nearly everything about this restaurant. First off, the waitress (owner?) did not write down our orders; one of the soups was incorrect and we suspect that one of the entrees was also not what we ordered. The soups were flavorful and spicy...they were the reason I am not awarding Thai Taste 1 or 0 stars. We asked for our food VERY spicy which apparently translated into ""NOT SPICY AT ALL."" The red curry tasted like watery coconut milk with a little basil flavoring and the chicken tasted boiled. The other dish (which was supposed to be another curry dish) was like a thinner version of General Tsao's with boiled chicken and a hint of soap. When we asked for hot sauce or chile's, we were provided with a sauce that was similar to the red chinese hot sauce that comes in that plastic bottle with the rooster on it and an oil instilled with crushed red pepper, neither of which made me reach for my Tsingtao. Bottom line: We will not be returning even though we live a stone's throw away except for maybe takeout of their spicy seafood soup (not sure of name...sorry!).
Pros: Soup
Cons: Everything else. Very pricey considering sub-par food.
