Businiess name:  Lisa Davis Upholstery

Review content:
Not many small business owners can say ?My business is my Art,? but Lisa Davis sure can. Located right off Adams Ave. for 15 years, Lisa's upholstery shop is a work of art in itself. With a background in fine arts and years of experience, she designs her own upholstery, manufactures frames, and does custom furniture upon request. It was really nice to walk through her shop and see countless books of fabric, furniture and equipment knowing all her work is done under one roof. This shop specializes in antique and modern furniture, so everyone is welcome to stop by with any upholstery needs. Lisa's business has received repeat notoriety from San Diego Home & Garden Magazine. You can find her work on the cover of the October 2010 issue, which featured a ?Reuse? line of furniture. There's one thing about this upholstery shop you might not find anywhere else, they specialize in pattern matching. Whether it be chairs, pillows, couches, etc., they will match patterns throughout the entire piece of furniture. Lisa has an extensive art background which also separates this shop from the rest. She describes her work as ?Functional Sculpture? and I have to say this is an understatement.
