South Shore Grill has one of the best menus in town. My family and friends frequent this restaurant on a weekly basis. They have something to satisfy anyone. One of my many favorites is the Chicken Salad Lunch or Dinner. It's available on both menus. It's the moistest, most delicious chicken salad served atop iceburg and field green lettuce. It is surrounded by tomatoes and toast points with avacado, then drizzled with a balsamic dressing. The chicken salad has a great texture, including chopped walnuts and pineapple. The service is scarce. My last visit turned sour the minute we reached the hostess stand when we arrived. It was a very unpleasant experience, but we chose to stay anyway. It's a shame that one bad situation can ruin your whole perspective. We were never apologized to, although the opportunity arose more than once. I loved this restaurant, but will now choose to call in an order for pick up, or just not return at all. What a shame. I probably wouldn't feel this way if we were visited by an owner/manager and apologized to. It was very odd. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.
