I wanted to surprise my wife of 47 years, with something romantic. We like to try new restaurants. I feel I am an expert on steaks and it is hard to find a restaurant that can fix steaks better than I can. I have found so far only 2 in Texas. I have found one Okla., 1 in Nev., 1 in Canada, and 1 in Calif. I have been in 42 of the lower 48 states. Cedar Grove Steakhouse is number 1 and is well worth the drive. It was very relaxing, great service, and the tenderest and mouth watering rib eye I had ever ate and I have ate a bunch. The desert, which I can't pronouce let alone spell, was out of this world. We will be going back. I can't say enough about the staff and how we were treated as well as the food. If you don't try them, you don't know what you are missing.
