I live nearby but had never gone into the shop. I was looking for a gift to take on an out of town trip to visit relatives and wanted something representative of Georgia. I was considering River Street Sweets but when I went online to find a location, I read great reviews about Schakolad and how the taste of their chocolate was far superior to others. I stopped by and tried the chocolates and was amazed. Our out of town relatives thought they were amazing. My husband and I have tasted and brought back well known brands of Parisian chocolates as well as those from recommended specialty shops in Paris, and we still believe the dark chocolate truffles from Schakolad are the best we have ever tasted. There is no better treat for us than to slowly savor one and as it melts, to wash it down with a good cabernet.
