Review content:
We've been to Haven once and really enjoyed our dinner. The poached shrimp appetizer with horseradish-tomato puree and avocado was delicious and light for summer. My husband raved about his surf&turf with scallops and brisket - a unique twist on the standard. I had the seared tuna and risotto with fava beans, which was lovely, but I think he ordered better. Very nice wine list. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful; we were seated right away (but had a reservation). I would take a date here to impress or the parents - feel free to show up in jeans, but be ready to pay a price for a much more elegant restaurant. Not unwarranted by any means - the quality of the food was well worth the spend. But it's nice to enjoy it without getting all dressed up.
Pros: Amazing, unique menu - couldn't decide what to order!
Cons: Price just out of range for a standard weeknight dinner
