Businiess name:  Mandarin House

Review content:
So I went to the Mandarin House last night and ordered the General Tsao's Chicken. It was so overcooked (overfried really) that not only was it like trying to chew leather, it wasn't even identifiable as chicken. It was late and I didn't want to go back last night, so I went in when they opened for lunch today. The guy said ""I wasn't here last night, I can't help you"" Really? I think you may be wrong. So he called the owner, spoke very rapidly in Mandarin to her and handed me the phone. I told her the chicken was not edible. She asked if they could replace it, and I told her that was dinner last night and I would rather have my money back. She said fine. He then wanted to refund $8. I had the receipt, on which I had the hostess write the prices, tax and total in English. The General Tsao Chicken was $8.95 + .78(tax) for a total of $9.73. He called his boss a THIRD TIME and handed me the phone! She told him to give me my money back! The guy argued with me, yelled at me, and finally gave me $8.65. He said there was a piece missing! Are you kidding me? How do you think I knew it was fried until it was like leather? He said f*** you, sue me. No. I don't think so. I do believe I will try to speak to the owner again, if only to make sure she knows the behaviour of her employees! The food is definately not good enough to suffer profanity and abuse! Over a dollar? Really?
