Will never go back to this practice again. Reception staff is so rude as to be almost funny. They've been awful to me multiple times and I've sat and watched them be just as rude (or worse) to others. Once saw them blow off an 80-year-old man who came in looking for help, asking about seeing a therapist. He didn't know how to go about it, who to see, etc., and the woman behind the window just kept coldly saying things like, ""I don't understand what it is you want"" and ""Who is the patient again?"" He said, ""Me!"" It was heartbreaking to see an elderly man who obviously needed help turned away without a care. I've been treated the same way there. Leave a phone message for your psychiatrist when you need a quick question answered? Don't expect a return call. Probably won't get one. The therapy is also not recommended. I asked for an evaluation since I've never been diagnosed with anything (depression? anxiety? who knows!). Nope, they didn't think they needed to do that. I also asked for CBT (which is generally recommended for the issues I have), but was told no on that as well. I was assigned to a therapist who was completely wrong for me (her specialty was something opposite of what my issues were), and I assume it was because she happened to be the one with an open schedule at the time. My impression of this practice is as others here have said: they want your money but couldn't care less about you as a person or as a patient. I saw the receptionists bully and embarrass patients on several occasions--patients who for some reason owed like $15.47 from a previous visit and were therefore being barred from walking into their appointment that day. One time I came THIS CLOSE to jumping up and paying some (literally) poor woman's $15.47, just so she could see her doctor. I understand it's a business and people need to pay their bills, but I don't understand why the patients have to be humiliated in front of everybody in that cramped waiting room. Yuck! Avoid this practice. I'd give them zero stars if that was an option. I wouldn't wish this place on my worse enemy.
