I finally tried the pancakes. My usual breakfast is the creamed chipped beef which is cooked to order, or I will do an omelet if I like the specials that day. My last visit however I was determined to get the pancakes and when i saw ""banana walnut pancakes"" on specials board, well that is all it took. I got a pair of them with a side of scrapple and they were fantastic! Vera's offers pure maple syrup also so I had to try that. Another great breakfast from Vera's Country Cafe.
Pros: great food, great people
Cons: it is a 15 mile drive for me to get there
