Well my situation was different. I was watching a male poodle (full blood, not miniature) for a friend and i was told he was neutered. well he wasnt & he got my min pin pregnant. She was 10 and too old and little to pass them. she went into labor Wendsday night and i took her in thusday morning, they did an exam and said take her home & she should have them in 24 hrs i asked to keep her there, I would pay whatever i didnt want her all alone when i was at work, they DIDNT keep her. she had one friday afternoon (born dead) and it was MUCH larger than any one puppy of her litter 6 yrs ago. She wasnt breathing hard anymore & seemed relieved from pain. saturday afternoon i was walking through the livingroom when i noticed she couldnt walk right she was taking steps and laying down repetedly, i got her in a kennel and came back with the keys, it was too late. I am not sure if they could've done anything only good thing is she wasnt alone. I am not a vet & i've never studied pet health so they may have handled this according to textbook. I hope this was helpful. Pros: VERY friendly, clean and seemed very experienced. Cons: My dog didn't make it.
