Review content:
I recently made a last minute appt. for my dog to get his ears checked out. I thought I would try a new vet out with a simple problem. I used a coupon for first time visitors which waived the $53 Physical Exam fee. They told me on the phone that I would just be responsible for paying any other costs like meds and extras. So, I when I arrived, I noticed it smelled like a kennel that had never been cleaned. The lady at the desk was busy with another customer. She didn't acknowledge me until 10 minutes later. I was the only one in the waiting room. We proceeded to weigh my dog and was put into a room that was much cleaner than the lobby. (Thank God) The vet read the chart , listened to his heart and said my dog had an ear infection. He gave him a Vetalog injection and prescribed an Otomax ointment. I asked if it just might be a wax ball that needed removal since it happend once before. He said no since the scabs from itching is in the outer ear, but never looked into the ears with an ear probe! I also mentioned that his glands might be full since chasing his tail was a sign, so he expressed the glands. Pros: Last minute appts. Cons: Overpriced, unsanitary lobby
