Review content:
I have dealt with this company for 11 years, and most of the fans in my house are purchased from Dan's Fan City. They work well and look good. I recently had a problem with a faulty switch not allowing my ceiling fan bulbs to light. I called and asked Dan's Fans to send a repairman to fix it, since my fans are under warranty. Unfortunately, I found out that the customer has to take the fan apart and carry part of the assembly back to the store to be repaired, then bring it back home and re-assemble the fan following the repair, or else pay the electrician who fixes the switch at your house a $65 service fee. I am a senior who is unable to climb ladders or take fans apart, and also am on a tight budget, like everyone else in these times. I recommend that buyers beware of trusting a warranty to take care of you 100% when a need arises.
