Review content:
We went in to buy a used truck and we found a solid little one, but after having it a day the battery died. We just thought it needed a new battery, but found out later that the car had been in accident (after they told us it hadn't) and that the battery was missing the clip that held the battery in place. The truck shouldn't have even been out for a test drive. If we would have gone over one big bump, the battery would have fallen out. We're planning to take it to our family mechanic to make sure the engine is in good shape. Empire said they looked it over and gave it a clean bill of health, but it's quite obvious they didn't do their job... a reputable mechanic would have never let the truck leave the lot without the battery clip. It's not only dangerous to the driver, but other motorists as well. We weren't impressed with the sleazy sales tactics or the shape of the vehicle. EMPIRE IS A BIG DISAPOINTMENT!
Cons: sleazy sales, lied, rushed the sale, unsafe vehicle.
