Review content:
This restaurant felt good at first - chips, salsa, atmosphere. When our dinners arrived, my shrimp entree was very good - presentation, aroma, flavor. My companion ordered the fish taco dinner - tilapia. Pleased to see tilapia since we eat tilapia an average of 2 times per week. I was so busy consuming my meal that I didn't notice my companion's face after first bite. He asked me to taste his fish taco. I immediately encountered a VERY STRONG fishy taste, which is completely uncharacteristic of tilapia. Apparently our waitperson noticed as she came to our table and asked if everything was okay. My companion explained and she said that she didn''t know anything about fish. He asked that she bring two beef tacos to replace the two fish tacos. While waiting, my companion ate most of the balance of his dinner, but other than the two bites we took out of one of one fish taco they were untouched. When she returned with the two beef tacos my companion asked her to remove the strong fishy smelling taco plate. He very much enjoyed the two beef tacos. When his ticket came and there was a charge for the complete fish taco meal AND the two beef tacos he assumed it was a mistake. He tried to explain to the man at the register and was treated as if he was trying to steal something. He said that he would be happy to pay the price of the full meal but expected that the charge for the two beef tacos would be removed. I can only describe what happened as an ""assault"". Before we could explain what happened, my companion was told that he ate all but one bite of the fish tacos. Upon our denial the man left and came back to tell us it was confirmed that my comp. had eaten the fish. We asked to speak to our server and we were told she was gone. Hmm, how did he confirm anything? I was totally embarrased by the way we were treated - rude, arrogant, insulting, combative. The more we tried to explain what happened, the worse we were treated. Worse experience ever !!
