The current sports lettering & numbering industry has taken huge steps over the last several years. Most sports jerseys used to have iron on letters and numbers or iron on patches. Recently, most customers have wanted the more authentic looking sew on patches or sewn on sports jersey numbers. This is what is used in pro football, hockey, baseball & basketball. So why can't us little people get the same authentic numbers that these huge outfits wear? Well, now we can. There are several companies out there that do this, but 99% of them will only sell in huge volumes to dealers or teams only. We have found a company, Eastern Lettering, that will sell to the little people of the world. Not only is there product great, and without a doubt, on the same playing level as the pros, but their prices are excellent. They specialize in custom sew on patches or badges, iron on letters & numbers, but most especially, the sew on patches and jersey numbers are what make them stand out.
Comparing color, weight, quality etc to let's say an NFL jersey number. There is no difference. A customer brought in a Dallas Cowboys jersey, fully authentic, 100% sewn on name & number. Eastern Lettering removed each patch, stripped the jersey clean, then went back and used their own athletic numbers and have them resewn onto the jersey. We gave it back to our customer and they were just amazed. Not only was the workmanship excellent, the actual colors were right on, the sizing of the numbers made the new ones fit perfect, and whoever did the removing of the old patches, did such a good job that the jersey had absolutely no imperfections.
