I have shopped at speers market for years while at my vacation home in Forestville (even during it's BAD time). I have always loved the small town feel and friendly people that work there, especially in the deli. Lately when I go in there the atmosphere has definately changed. The store itself looks GREAT!! The deli on the otherhand has gone WAY down hill over the last couple of months and the deli workers have the WORST people skills that I have ever experienced!! Like the other user I too have had problems with a girl named Megan, as well as the young man in the deli and the previous deli owner Anna. These three have completely ruined the welcoming atmosphere that USED to be speers deli. At least the long haired one (Suzie-?) is still there, but it looks like they got rid of her partner in crime-unfortunate, because those two were great together (very personable & friendly). In addition to the bad attitudes, the food and style that Speers deli used to be known for is completely nonexistant!! They have a new butcher (sometimes) that is very friendly, but other days it is Anna doing the meat cutting ( I will have to find out which days she is NOT there to do my meat buying). The salads are NOT nearly as flavorful and fresh as they used to be. in closing (finally!)...........JUST BRING BACK THE GOOD OLD SPEERS DELI!!

Cons: Bad Attitudes...Bad Attitudes... BAD ATTITUDES!!!!
