Review content:
I made the mistake of eating at Ben's one night during a family get-together. The waitress who served us was nasty, unattentive and disheveled throughout the evening (she almost resembled the middle-aged hostess who had a more than snooty attitude towards us). One family member asked for pastrami on a roll but got it on rye instead (waitress shot us a nasty look when we told her the order was wrong); another ordered a roast that was overdone and tasted like rubber. The only thing that seemed appetizing were the pickles, rolls, and assortment of cookies as a dessert.
