We first learned of Samila a couple years ago when I had bought a dress from another store for my daughter's school dance. On the evening before the dance, my daughter became disstressed because she felt the dress was too long and wanted it shortened. On the morning of the dance, I drove into Redmond to see if help was possible on short notice and the first store that came to my attention was Samila. I walked in and explained the situation and my request was greeted with a gracious affirmation that it could be accomplished! I was amazed at the beautiful work that was done under a short time frame (the dress was made of silk charmeuse, and the hem had to be very narrow -- difficult work!) and at such a reasonable rate! I will never forget the kindness that I received that day! Because of the excellent treatment, my daughter and I have returned twice since and each time have taken away a beautiful dresses at a reasonable price! Each time we go, my daughter is treated like royalty!! It's a very edifying experience. I highly recommend visiting Samila whether to buy a dress or for alterations to a dress you already own. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful boutique!
