For those of you that decide to 'give it a go', be aware that it's unlikely that you'll be returning.
In addition to all the negative comments from other folks here - which I experienced and saw for my own eyes... here's my summary of this strange place.
(I had booked a 'full body' massage)
As I sat in their dusty and shabby waiting area, I watched the massues come and go... and was shocked at their overweight, unattractive and unhealthy appearance. As I was dreading which one was mine, another appeared, even older and more ugly (sorry to use this term, but she really was a horror).
I was taken upstairs through which felt more like a doctor's office than a 'spring/spa'.
Technically, the massage was terrible... she basically 'rubbed' my body for 60mins. I did attempt to give some verbal direction, but the whole thing was too broken. It felt like I was being rubbed by someone's mother who'd read 'massages for dummies' the night before. It really was very bad.
I should have stopped it, but for some reason didn't.
As I left, I was asked if I would like to leave a tip, I declined but asked to speak with a manager. After a few minutes a personality-less man arrived and said he couldn't do anyting. So I asked for someone to call me the next day. This confused him, so he handed me the desk phone and suggest that I left a message with the business office. I insisted he get someone to call ME.
I went straight home and showered... I felt little violated. It was very unpleasant.
To compound matters, the next day 'a sharehold of the business' called. Right away, her tone was defensive. I explained how poor the massage was, but all she could do was talk over me and assert that no-one else had complained. She compared it to a cheese burger (she did) and that if I didn't like it I should have said spoke-up. It was all a bit surreal and angered me greatly. I did explain I wasn't looking for compensation but thought someone should know.... but again, she continued to defend.
I'm a fan of posting reviews, as I find them mostly useful. I post more good reviews than bad. If you're looking for a massage, I suggest 'Body Mind and Spirit Massage Therapy Center'? on College Av.
