In SF, I dont think there are many great seafood places. The food is either not fresh enough, too expensive, the portions are too small, or the menu is too limited. That is not the case hear. The portions are large, the menu has a wide selection, the desserts and wine list are ample, they have a decent list of appetizers, and the seafood is FRESH. The service is average as is the ambiance, but for if you want fantastic seafood, come here. Although the service wasnt great, it doesnt take away from the evening either. I also like how there is terrfic seafood in the wharf, it kinda goes well together.
