Few restaurants in the world can take fresh-of-the-boat fish and turn it into the blandness this place specializes in. And, don't be fooled if anyone tells you this place is a hidden secret. Every hotel concierge directs guests to this place because of its theme-park clapboard fishing-shack-by-the-water ambience. Lines waiting for tables are long, even with reservations. Waitstaff are hayseed but endearing. Prices are expensive!
Pros: Old San Francisco ambience; waterside location; valet service (no parking nearby)
