THIS ?BUSINESS? IS A SCAM. PLEASE READ MY HORROR STORY SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO YOU! I hired 1st Class Movers/Buy A Buddy about a month before my move. I filled out and signed their three-page contract, and my credit card was charged $120. They were scheduled to arrive at 10 AM on Sunday, February 19th. I spoke to the owner, Terry Henry, twice the evening before to confirm that they would be moving me. He confirmed that they would be there at 10 AM as scheduled. At 10:05 AM on the day of the move, I called Terry to find out when they would be coming. Terry said that he was at the office, and he would call the men and see where they were. That is the last I heard from Terry or 1st Class Movers. I called Terry's office phone and cell phone more than 30 times that day, and he would neither answer the phone nor return my calls. For several hours, it was unclear whether they were running late, or perhaps not coming at all. They never came. My apartment lease was up that day, so it was absolutely necessary to move that day as planned. After hours of stress and anxiety trying to find an emergency mover on a Sunday and a holiday weekend, I finally found a mover who was willing to move me at 3 PM that day. I was very disturbed by Terry's disregard for the contract he had with me, but even more so for not returning my calls. Once he knew the moving men would not be coming, why didn't he call and just let me know? Also, they have 22 5-star ratings on Google Reviews because they posted 22 fake reviews about themselves as if they were customers. These people are 100% phonies. I hope no one is ever again scammed by 1st Class Movers like I was!
