Review content:
I had just come off my second heart by-pass operation when I received a telephone call from a high school class mate that I had not seen in 45 years. He had heard of my two operations and gave me a call to inform me that he had had three by-pass operations over a 10 year period. Then he had heard of the Maulfair Medical Center, had gone through their chelation therapy program and had not had a problem for over 9 years. I decided to look into this program and after attending a seminar, decided that I had nothing to lose but some time and some money and so I enrolled in the program. I had atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, diabetes and intermittent claudication which would not allow me to walk much more than 500 ft. before I would get pain in my legs which would bring my walk to a halt. Quite frankly, I had taken 20 treatments and did not see any positive results. I was losing my faith in this program that I had put so much faith into. I felt this was my only hope of leading a normal life after all that I had been through and it seemed that this too was letting me down. After the 20 treatments I noticed that I could walk just a little bit further. In about two weeks I was walking 2 miles. I now walk two miles regularly and have walked as far as three miles non-stop. I still cannot walk the two miles at a fast pace but I expect that I will as time goes on. I have taken my 26th treatment today. As of about three weeks ago, I have stopped my heart medicine (Atenenol), I have stopped my cholesterol medicine (Mevacor) and the only medicine that I am now taking is Glipzide for high blood sugar. I am monitoring my blood sugar at home and hope to reduce or eliminate this medicine also.
