Review content:
As a first timer in Savannah we had to go to the Paula Dean's famous Lady & Sons restaurant. I expected the wait to be long, which it was, two and a half hours I think. The staff was nice/good. Now the food...Being a TV fan and trying some of her recipes which came out very tasty, I was very disappointed in the taste quality of this restaurant. I had expected to be rolled out of the place in a wheelchair cause the food was so good, I couldn't stop eating. Wrong! Maybe the chefs here just don't have Paula's knack. The food was fair and over priced. This is a ""been there done that"" type of place for me and I will not return. Savannah is packed full of excellent restaurants to try. So for you other first timers, please don't let Lady & Sons set the standard. Eat here first, then move on to the many other mouth watering choices you have before you. Pros: Celebrety Restaurant Cons: Long waits, food fair at best
