Review content:
I had to take my dog to AAH this past weekend because she had a painful abdomen after getting into cat food and her regular vet was not open. After throwing down $3500 for 2 x-rays, and ultrasound, IV fluids, and medication, and (as it turns out,) an otherwise unnecessary 2 night stay, they did nothing to help my dog. Moreover, the ultrasound they performed was not written up in a way that was useful to the specialist / surgeon that I ultimately had to take my dog to see to get her help, which meant that I the ultrasound had to be repeated by someone who actually knew what they were doing. \r

AVOID THIS PLACE!! For emergency care, you'd be better off going straight to South Paws in Fairfax where they have 24 hour emergency care and vets on staff who can actually treat your pet.
