Businiess name:  Manhattan Bagel
Review by:  Bob G.
Review content:
A bit of background ... we travel a lot, and my wife carries her favorite English tea bags which she mail orders. Restaurants ranging from 5-star to fast food joints never have a problem providing her with some hot water, especially given we're both having a full breakfast. Manhattan Bagel in Red Bank was different, however. The cashier/manager waffled about what to charge, and said we really should pay for the full cup of tea. This, and his attitude sent us elsewhere for breakfast today. We would have been glad to pay 10 or 20 cents for the cup, as other lower-end restaurants sometimes do, but he didn't offer the option. We've eaten at this establishment before, with the tea bags and all, without incident. But if they're going to be skinflints and treat customers poorly, we'll walk past Manhattan Bagel and choose one of the many other breakfast restaurants in Red Bank.
