I was a patient of this doctor for over 1 year and out of the blue she had a bad day and took her problems out on me.
I have had Lupus, a very serious life threatening illness since I was 2 years old.
I was seeing Melody St. John for treatment of Lupus and on my scheduled visit she became very angry, irrational, and dumped me without any medical care.
She called Wal-mart and told Wal-mart pharmacy to not allow me to have any refills on my Lupus medications that she had previous called in for me, which was 5mg of prednisone and 200mg of placqnil, I had been on both these medications most of my life and out of pure negligence, she stopped this medication which is not designed to be stopped in this type of manner. I could have died if I hadn't immediately found another doctor to take care of me.
I would highly recommend anyone that has Lupus, or thinks that they might have Lupus, NOT to visit this doctor for any type of treatment.
She has no real knowledge of this disease and does not know how to diagnosis or treat this severe illness.
I filled a complaint with the medical board to mark her record in detail for anyone who wants to read it.
I have never in my life had such a terrible experience with a doctor and my health, than I have had with Melody St. John.
Any doctor who without notice, would discontinue the very medication that she prescribed in the manner that she did, is a real quack.
She was very angry and hateful and I think she hates her job.
