Businiess name:  Victoria's Bridal

Review content:
I went to Victoria's after asking several folks for recommendations for a good, custom bridal dress maker. Victoria, of Victoria's Inc., evidently made Melinda Gate's dress, so I would guess she's pretty exacting about her work and her clients. I wasn't disappointed in any shape or form with my experience--I went in with a pattern I had picked up about 10 years earlier in a fabric store. They asked me several questions related to fittings, such as if I gained or lost weight when stressed :-), and based on my figure, if I wanted the same sleeves as on the pattern (Victoria thought capped sleeves would be more flattering). They did an initial muslin "fit" piece, then I got to actually choose the lace I wanted to go with the fabric--the lace was then custom dyed to match. They also helped make sure I had the right undergarments to go with my dress, and had me bring in my shoes to make sure the hem was an appropriate length when everything was completed. I did several more fittings, as I had planned my dress out about a year in advance of our date, and didn't have any of the horror stories you hear in wedding articles about not getting my dress done in time. The staff was helpful and despite specializing in brides, still managed to share the excitement of my impending wedding. Victoria's also has off the rack dresses, and evening and other formal attire for women. I easily found my custom dress was within the price of anything off the rack, so if you have the time, I'd definitely recommend going custom at this wonderful shop.
