Review content:
My husband and I love to go to Maria's because it reminds us of Hong Kong. Everything on the menu is yummy! And it is all authentic. Their menu is identical to that of a Hong Kong "tea restaurant"... this means rice dishes, noodles, congee, sandwiches, macaroni, and especially the drinks!
You see, Hong Kong has a heavy Western influence and the people enjoy a lot of these items, especially for a quick, cheap lunch.
Our favorites are:
Wonton Noodles Soup
Various Baked Rice Dishes
Baked Spaghetti
Corn Chowder
French Toast
YOU MUST TRY THE DRINKS!
Cold Milk Tea
Cold Ovaltine
Bubble Tea
Most of the drinks can be served hot or cold.
Most importantly, Maria's is best known for their buns/breads/pastries .. we usually buy about a weeks worth of buns for breakfast and the Black Forest Chocolate Pastries are to die for!
Bottom Line: I highly recommend Maria's if you like to taste different things.. as the prices are fair and my husband and I always order more than we can finish.. and just take the rest home.
