If it's August in Traverse City, you're sure to hear this jingle on local radio stations advertising the Northwestern Michigan Fair.
This is a great family event. There's really something for everyone...rides, food, animals and entertainment. The local 4-H kids have their opportunity to be in the spotlight and show their animals. It's such a wonderful way to expose your kids to all different kinds of animals and to show them how hard work pays of for the kids in 4-H.
They always have different entertainment going on which appeals to the "grown ups." I recommend this as a great, inexpensive way to spend the day as a family!
