This place does some things right, and lots of things wrong. It's a dubby loungy dj bar, complete with a few posh leather chairs and glass coffee tables; I guess they expect an air of sophistication that the area of central square is not known for. Most of the rest of the seating is just wooden stairs covered with Persian rugs and tapestries and garnished with some throw pillows in an effort to give the false impression of being comfortable. The drinks are steep, and the clientèle sucks...21-30 year olds who wear casino button downs and too much cologne. Sometimes they do have good music though - Christian Poirier makes it a habit to spin there...I'm not quite sure why.
