I used to use Ted's Cleaner's in New Haven (Grove Street), and liked them, so I decided to drive past two other cleaners to use their branch in Woodbridge when I moved to Westville.
When I picked up my "clean" clothes, the shop reeked of cigarette smoke thanks to a clerk who thought standing in an open doorway was good enough to keep my clothes fresh.
No second chances for that kind of professionalism. When I pay my dry cleaner, I want my clothes to come back fresh!
