Last year I purchased virtually all of my Christmas gifts at Best Buy. The customer service was slow but I got a good deal. This year I tried to purchase a plasma TV where I was NOT helped by the staff. I went to leave and was asked if I found what I was looking for to which I responded "no". Even after the manager was called, the staff could not answer basic questions without leaving me standing there for a half an hour at a time. After wasting a couple of hours, I left. I could have purchased a new car in less time. Shortly after this I went in to try to get the DVD player (purchased the year before) serviced. I was referred to the Geek Squad and a middle aged man who was completely disinterested in helping me. Needless to say, I threw away the DVD player and stormed out of Best Buy cursing. I will never return. As an aside, this year I bought all of my Christmas gifts at EB Games and I wholeheartedly recommend them. I also bought a great plasma TV online thank you.
