When sonic first opened in this part of Virginia, I kept hearing how lousy their food was, especially the burgers, but then I tried it. The rumors were FALSE!! The food is decent for fast food. The service is courteous and fast. Hence, fast food.
The best part of Sonic are the deelish drinks. They put different flavours together that you'd never expect. My fave? Cherry Lime Rickey (which my folks told me was a throwback to the 40's!) Whoda thunk it? My friends swear by the pina coladas, minus the rum *think: virgin coladas*. The "coneys" are wonderful. Coneys being foot long franks with everything on it! The tater tots are fun! good choice for fast food!
