Friendly's restaurants are a favorite. Ice cream, good food, a fun atmosphere for kids. Except.... when there is bad service. I go there about once a week. Family lunches, after school ice cream treats, dinners out with the kids. Almost everytime I go there, we have a problem. half of our order is wrong, it takes 45 minutes to get our food (and they werent busy!), or once, we were forgotten about altogether! We were seated in the back, and no one came to take our orders. When we finally spoke up, they blamed it on having a "bad day". Another time, my friends and I had a girls night out. We arrived at Friendlys at 4 pm on a Sunday, and left at 5pm..... we never got served. Never even got our orders taken and we were sitting up front, by the kitchen! There were 6 of us there for dinner before a movie. The waitress wouldve had a large bill from us and possibly a large tip. We walked out, and werent even followed or stopped by a manager. As we walked out we heard "OH, no one got their orders!". Thank goodness for their yummy foods and ice cream. If they didnt have that going for them, Im sure they would have to close. Their salads are always fresh, their burgers always hot. Big portions, decent prices. Atleast they have that going for them.
