Max's located on Van Houten Ave, between Passaic Ave and Clifton Ave, is a bar almost hidden from view. The sign is only noticeable if you are really looking hard for it. The crowd is always friendly and the prices are right. The interior is very clean; and there is a pool table in the back. I always have a very nice experience going to Max's.
