Don't miss this.. it's a great activity for Memorial Day weekend every year! Every year, 100 hot air balloons compete in a variety of competitive events and the visual spectacle is stunning. There are tethered balloon rides during the event but it is possible to arrange a real balloon ride with an independent operator after the event closes. Admission is free (including watching the balloons) but everything else costs, including parking. The event is used to raise money for local charities so it is definitely money well spent. Very family friendly, offers amusement rides, outdoor concerts and food.
