The service has been covered in depth, and I agree with all previous reviews. I'd like to get into something that hasn't been discussed much, though, and that's the economics of shopping at Rockland Music. I've been playing acoustic guitar since I was 12, and wanted to branch out into electric. Rockland Music was the closest store, so I went there hoping to find something cheap, used, and ultra-affordable so I could get the hang of electric guitar before investing in a better rig. As it turns out, the cheapest electric guitar they had in the store was a Cort G110 for $150. If you look at completed listings on eBay, you'll find that over the past two weeks alone, there have been eight Cort guitars that were either purchased or available for $100 or under - all of them in mint or near-mint condition. That's not even getting into the other affordable brands, like Epiphone, Squier, Yamaha. There's just no point in going to Rockland Music. You can get much, much better deals elsewhere - even buying online with shipping included. For example, I've gone on to purchase a used Epiphone SG - the G400, the standard model - for $150. That $150 G400 gets mistaken for a Gibson when I play into a Bugera V22 amp, while that $150 Cort G110 was a piece of garbage that would not stay in tune. I wound up giving it away after repeated failed attempts to sell it - one time for as low as $20. more
