In April of 2011 I purchased a custom couch from Harvest Home Stores Inc in Corte Madera. We went to the store picked out the material, cushion fill and model of the couch we wanted. The folks at the stores told us it would take 3-4 weeks and I would have my couch. Well that did not happen…first they gave me the run around for months with getting a different story every time I called. Finally we took the delivery of the couch in August which was already 3 months late. So now I have had the couch for 7 months and there has been nothing but problems with it. The couch was made very poorly and it looks like it’s now 5 years old. I have called the store and sent numerous emails with pictures and they are not willing to do anything about it and are saying it’s not their responsibility. They say I can ship back to their warehouse at my cost or they can send me the muslin covers the manufacture forgot to put into the cushions and I can fix it myself, and that’s only the first problem. The second problem is there are feathers coming out of the fabric, the springs in the couch are squeaking and overall manufacturing of the couch was made very poor and sloppy. This couch cost us $2800 and for the price you would think you would get a quality product, but in this case we did not and this place is the worst place ever! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! Also the store manager Susie is horrible! Stay away from Harvest Home Stores! more
