I was returning to work after 5 months on Maternity Leave with my daughter and realized that my 2 1/2 yr old son, who was home with the Nanny needed socialization and more than just the basic skills. I visited 6 different schools between home and work for over 2 months and was rethinking the Nanny situation. I decided to look into one more schoool and Lucky #7 was My Special Spot. I knew the moment I walked in this was the school for my son. You could see and tell the Director, Jeff and the teachers actually cared for the children. It took my son and I a few weeks to settle in, my crying in the car after dropping him off, but the patience Ms. Gina, Ms. Patti and Ms. Gloria (Koala Kids) showed my son and I was remarkable. My son has graduated to another class now (Panda Pals) and I am going to be enrolling my daughter at the end of this year. In regards to the Negative Review Below, children are children and bumps, bruises and even biting does occur. In the past year my son has attended we rarely experienced any of it and I have to say if the littlest incident occurred we were immediately notified personally by the teacher and on his book when we picked him up. Mostly the normal boo boo's from playing. I have picked my son up many times at all different times of the day and have ""NEVER"" seen them outside unsupervised. There are always two or more teachers with each group outside. My son is Happy and Loves going to school. He is excited everyday to tell me about his day. He is constantly talking about his teachers, Ms. Emily & Ms. Sarah. I receive pictures several times a month of my child within the classroom to my personal email, which just brightens my days. At the end of last year I received a cd with pictures of him throughout the year in school, I cried my eyes out. Jeff and all the teachers love the children.
