We first went to Armando's because we got tired of waiting to get into Norm's across the street. That was at least 30 years ago. We go once a week even though we live in Duarte because nobody makes their rice and beans like Armando's. Another reason is for the salsa and chips. The corn tortillas are fried and the salsa is thick, not watery like most mexican restaurants. The fish tacos are good but the white sauce is sweet so I ask for ranch dressing instead. Another thing is they have ground beef hard tacos which I love but they tend to be too greasy. Check it out if you want real mexican food. Well worth a visit.
