I made an appointment with Dr. Walker in an attempt to have a serious health problem re evaluated. Not only did I wait quite a while to see Dr. Walker, but when she arrived to talk with me, she only stayed for a total of 10 minutes tops, and asked the same questions she did when we first talked about my condition that is STILL undiagnosed. She was condescending and when I gave her very detailed symptom descriptions she actually laughed at certain points, as if my very detailed and helpful information was absurd to her and made no difference in that she had no real plans in helping me at all. This woman was someone I had truly trusted and that trust is now lost. I was made to feel stupid and damaged as if I had no business wasting her time and that her schedule was FAR too busy to be talking to someone with such mundane problems. I had a more detailed and attentive discussion about my symptoms and problems with the NURSE than I did with Dr. Walker. That is not okay. I will never go back to this doctor and I don't recommend anyone see her. She's all smiles but when you actually have real issues and real medical trauma, you better be bleeding from the eyes or no one in the doctors office will pay ANY attention to you. This has ALWAYS been my experience at this doctors office. Even the people who take your blood are incompetent. No lie, I could have done a better job drawing my own blood than the woman who did it on this occasion. I was left with a large bruise and I never bruise from having blood taken. There is also no bedside manner in this doctors office. Considering its in the heart of Hanover I find this appalling. Where are the sweet, kind doctors who give you the TIME YOU PAID FOR in an appointment? They are not here, I can tell you that. I actually broke down from frustration and anger after my experience and began to cry in the halls, and several nurses saw me and SAID NOTHING. offered me no comfort, didn't even look twice, absolutely looked the other way. because they don't have time? or because they just don't care? Do yourself a favor and don't find out first hand...spare yourself the discomfort and repugnant environment.
