Mike Shaw Chevrolet-Saab let me drive a 2007 Honda Element off the lot on 4/27/2011 without being approved for a loan nor did they tell me they were doing this. 4 weeks later I got a call was told I would have to turn the car in. The sales associate said come in and look to see if I liked another car they had in stock and if not I would get my money back. I did not like anything they had so I asked for my money back and all I got were check that were being held for the rest of the down payment. I asked about the $500 cash and the sales man told he was keeping it for me driving his car and he is a manager so he could make this call on 5/27/2011. He got Irate with me and I walked away to deal with this later. I have tried to call the GM of the store on 5/31/11 but he is hard to get in touch with. After many calls not returned I to the store and finally got to talk with a manager. He said he will look in to this and give me a call. By the afternoon I got a call back he made accusation the were untrue and out outlandish. He said I drove the car for 3000 miles and drove it out of state. I put 1000 miles on the car. He then said he will see about what he was told and get back to me. I then received a call from Tobias stating he is keeping my money and there is no way to get it back. After a lengthy conversation he said he would check with Brian Shane (the sales rep) to see if he told me that I would get my money back. Three days later and after several calls made to Tobias he finally called me and told he would get a check cut in a couple of days. I would not do business at this dealership and it was the worst car buying experience I ever had and I worked at dealerships all my younger years.
