I moved from California to Oregon on Feb 14th. Nathan Fuller came out and told me there would be three men moving my things we scheduled the move for Feb 12. He then called on the 10th and told me they could not come until the 14th. Nathan told me they would arrive at 8 and be done roughly at 1. He said that he has a trustworthy company and I as a single woman can trust them to not take advantage of me. The movers showed up at 9 although three men came out 1 only did inventory and then went back in the truck and slept. At 415 I called Nathan to let him know they were still not done and I needed to get on the road because there was a huge storm coming. He said they should have been done a lot sooner and all three should have been moving things as promised. He told me to call him the next day. We finally left at about 445 and hit the worst storm of the year in Oregon. Mind you I had a two bedroom 1200 sq ft house and it took them over two hours and 45 min to move with no packing, I finally arrived to Oregon and the movers arrived 2 hours later then they said and again only 2 movers the third slept again, his son said he has trouble sleeping. Fearing it was going to be 8 hours to unload I called Nathan who promised he would have his phone on him all day and I should call him because he is in charge, did not answer. As they were moving one of the movers smoked marijuana in my garage I again called Nathan not knowing what to do being a single woman and put in this situation I felt my safety was at risk. He still did not answer. As the day went on I kept calling with no answer they finally finished without putting many things together so I had to hire someone and miss two days of work to take care of these issues. I emailed Nathan with no response that week and continued calling his cell and no response to anything. Finally in the 21st a week later I got a hold of him and asked why he did not call me back and his response was that he was on vacation. I reminded him that he said he would be available since I was having problems and he said well I don?t know what to tell you and he said well you need to contact North American Van Lines this is not an issue I can deal with. I explained I wish he had told me in the beginning I would have dealt with them from the get go. Since then he has not returned any email or phone call from me. I call North American Van and spoke to Barbera first who sounded mortified and agreed the situation was unacceptable she would speak to superiors and call me back tomorrow shocking she never called back so I had to track her down and she said that I should have notified them when the mover was smoking and I said I would have but Nathan told me he was in charge I didn?t even have a number for North American van lines . She also said it was not there responsibility to put things together which is not what Nathan told me. I asked to speak to the president of the company and got Carol who said that the president will not call me back and I should have called the police or them I again explained the entire situation and she said that there is nothing they will do for me. I am shocked that a company would allow this to go on I have gotten no apology no offer of refund for my time or missing of new job nothing. So in the end I was completely taken advantage of by this company please for your own safety DO NOT USE THEM!
