I arrived with a friend and my girlfrined arrived a bit later. My girlfriend's drivers license had expired a few weeks ago, but she had a little print out sheet from the DMV saying a new one was in the works. DMV being so slow had taken so long that even the little piece of paper she had was expired by one day. The bartender would not allow us to play pool even though my girlfriend had multiple proofs of identity. My girlfriend and I are almost 30 now, it wasn't like it was a close call. I could understand it if we had just turned 21. It was lame and insulting. It was the first and the last time I'm going to the pool hall.
