We checked in on a Friday afternoon around 1:30. The first thing we noticed was how friendly the staff was. We booked a pool side room. The staff recommended the ""east"" end since we were traveling with our 4 year old son. He was fascinated with the ""nicely heated"" pool,slides, and water shower. It is definitely geared towards young children. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Adventureland. We had forgotten our wrist bands to board the first day and decided to just walk over since it took about 8 minutes. After returning from the park that night, we ordered take out from the nice hotel restaurant and dined by the pool. The food was very good and reasonably priced. However; the restaurant does not open until 2:00 PM. I do wish they would have offered a Saturday Brunch. The beds were comfortable, and the room temperature was well controlled. The bathrooms were clean. They only supply a small shampoo and soap, so don't forget your lotion and conditioner. The room came equipped with a coffee pot. The large Flat screen TV had many cable channels to choose from. We checked out the next day and spent another day at the Adventureland water park. It is there that my son continuously asked to go back to the hotel !! We had a wonderful stay and we are looking forward to returning in the near future. We felt it was well worth the money. If you are traveling with young children, this hotel would be your best choice!!
